What: Support for Triangle theater projects during the 2022-23 season

We put out a call for project grant applications in the spring of 2022, for theater events taking place in the Triangle during the 2022-23 season. In August 2022, an independent panel evaluated the applications and awarded a total of $44,000 in grants to 18 theater companies and individual artists. The grants – ranging from $1,000 to $3,500 – will support the work of close to 500 individual Triangle theater artists and reach an estimated total audience of 10,500 across the Triangle counties of Durham, Chatham, Orange, and Wake.
