Ticket Info & Policies

General Info
Our standard ticket prices are $20 on weekends, and $12 on weeknights. Seniors (62+) and active duty/reserve military are eligible for a $2 discount. Student tickets are $10 weekends and $6 weeknights; 18 and older MUST show a current (dated) student i.d. For special Preview Nights all tickets are $5 in advance or at the door. Tickets usually go on sale about 4 weeks before a production opens. Check our Current Season page for show on-sale dates.

There are NO added or hidden fees for ticket purchases. The listed ticket price is what you pay, online or at the door. Isn’t that refreshing?

Tickets purchased in advance can be picked up at the theater on the night of the performance only, under the purchaser’s name, starting about one hour before showtime. You do NOT need to print out a receipt or ticket, just ask for tickets by name when you arrive. Seating is general admission; we recommend picking up your tickets by 30 minutes prior to showtime. Tickets not picked up by 10 minutes prior to showtime may be released to the waiting list. Shows unless otherwise noted begin at 8:15, at 2:00 for matinees, and at 7:30 for occasional Sunday evening or other dark night performances. WE CANNOT GUARANTEE LATE SEATING.

Online
You can purchase advance tickets online at our secure sales page up until 5:00 the night of the show (or noon for matinees). There are no added fees for online purchase. Advance sales are generally final unless you contact us IN ADVANCE to reschedule or cancel. If a performance is cancelled, all tickets are refunded in full.

Phone Sales
Purchasing online is easier and faster, however if you have difficulty, you can contact us at our voice mail number: 919.682.3343. Leave a message with your name and number and the best time to reach you in person, and we will call you back as soon as we can to assist you. Please do not leave credit card numbers in your message. There are no added fees for phone purchase.

At the Door
Tickets can be purchased subject to availability at the box office the night of a show starting about one hour before curtain. Door purchases are by cash, check, credit card. If you have a Season Flex Pass, you can use it to purchase your tickets at the door, but we recommend reserving in advance to save you time. (Note that Season Flex Passes do NOT guarantee ticket availability at the door if a show is sold out and you haven’t reserved.) There are no added fees for door sales.

Waiting List
Most sold-out shows will have some tickets available the night of the show. Sign-up for the waiting list starts when box office opens, usually around 7:00 or around 1:00 for matinees. You have to be at the theater in person to get on the list for that night’s show, and can sign up for a maximum of 2 tickets per person in line. To avoid delaying the start of the show, wait list purchases are CASH ONLY. Please click on the “Waiting List” tab above if you have questions or need more information.

Season Flex Pases

Sorry, our 2017-18 Season Flex Passes are SOLD OUT.

If you purchased a 2017-18 Season Flex Pass – cost $140, good for ten admissions – you can buy tickets with it online, by phone, or at our box office when you attend.
• To purchase online with a Flex Pass, go to our ticket sales page, select the show you want, and follow the directions to use your Flex Pass code. (Contact us if you’ve forgotten your code.)
• To purchase by phone with a Flex Pass just call our Box Office at 919.682.3343 at any time, and leave a message telling us your name, the day and date you or your guests want to attend, and the number of tickets you are purchasing with your Flex Pass. We will email or call you back to confirm, and debit your Season Pass account for the number of admissions you are using. There is no added fee when using a Flex Pass to purchase tickets. Tickets for shows go on sale about a month before they open.
• To purchase at the box office when you attend, tell us you are using flex passes when you arrive, and the name of the flex pass purchaser. (Note: some shows sell out in advance; ticket availability is not guaranteed the night of a show. We recommend calling prior to the night of performance and making your flex pass purchase by phone.)

Waiting List
For sold out shows, we usually have some tickets available at the door the night of the show. We will start a waiting list at the theater when we open the box office about 7:00 p.m., or about 1:00 for matinees. You have to be here in person to get on the waiting list and can sign up for a maximum of two tickets. We do not know in advance how many tickets will be available, what your chances are, or what time to arrive to be first in line. Cast and crew cannot put you on the waiting list. To avoid delaying the start of the show, wait list tickets are CASH ONLY. Frequently asked wait list questions.
Students
For most shows, student/youth tickets are $10 on weekends, $6 weeknights, either in advance or at the door. College or grad students (18 or older) will need to show a current student i.d. (one i.d. per student ticket) at the box office. If a show is sold out, and there is a waiting list, students on the waiting list can pay the student rate if they get in.

Seniors and Military
Seniors (62+) and active duty/reserve military are eligible for a $2 ticket discount for most shows. Just select the Senior/Military rate when purchasing online or by phone. Military may need to show an active duty/reserve i.d. at the box office. You can also request the Senior/Military rate when purchasing at the box office.

Comps
Comps and reviewer tickets can be reserved by phone at our voice mail number, 919.682.3343.

Concessions
Beer, wine, coffee, sodas, bottled water are for sale in the lobby prior to the performance and during intermission (if there is one). We accept cash or credit cards (minimum $2) for concession purchases (no checks). Complimentary snacks (cookies, pretzels, etc.) are also available. Drinks bought from our concessions ARE allowed in the performance space.

Volunteers
If you’d like to see a show for free AND help Manbites Dog, consider volunteering to help with front of house duties. We generally use two volunteers at each performance. To sign up, call our Voice Mail number, 919.682.3343, and tell us the specific performance you’d like to volunteer for. We’ll call you back to confirm. Volunteers need to arrive no later than 6:45 p.m. (or at 12:30 p.m. for matinees) for setup, and will assist before the show, at intermission, and briefly after the show. Tasks include concession sales, box office assistance, ushering, and a quick post-show cleanup.

Previews and Bargain-Price Shows
For $5 preview nights and similar bargain price shows, tickets can be purchased in advance at our website, or at the door the night of the show if available.
