Monologist Mike Daisey and Duke Law professor Jedediah Purdy will discuss liberty, the Occupy Movement, and Daisey’s play American Utopias, moderated by Duncan Murrell.

Mike Daisey will be performing his latest play, American Utopias, at PSI Theatre in the Durham Arts Council in downtown Durham from January 30 to February 3. Learn more.

Jedediah Purdy has been studying the Occupy Movement and the basic questions that it raises.

Duncan Murrell is writer-in-residence at Duke’s Center for Documentary Studies and one of the founders of Professor Diablo’s True Revue, a bi-monthly evening of documentary collaboration and performance.
