TEAM PIGDOG
Once again, Manbites Dog Theater and fellow Durham theater company Little Green Pig are partnering for The Great Human Race* as Team PigDog to raise funds to support our work. Meeting our goal of $10,000 will help both companies pay local artists to create great theater here in Durham.

(* The Great Human Race is an annual 5K race/walk fundraiser for Non-Profits organized by The Volunteer Center of North Carolina. It takes place Saturday April 6 at 8:30 a.m., starting at Northgate Mall (near Sears Automotive). There is no charge to walk; a runner registration fee is required.)

HOW TO SUPPORT TEAM PIGDOG
• Donate on our fundraising page or by check.
• Join Team PigDog and create your own team member fundraising page.
• Recruit support from friends, families, and colleagues.

1. Send an email to friends, families, and known theater lovers letting them know about our fundraising page, and if you are fundraising, send them to your own fundraising page (see #2).

2. Become a Team PigDog member to raise money from friends and family. To sign up, just click the red “Become a Fundraiser!” button on the right. You will be guided through simple steps to create your own team member page, which will be linked to our team page. Even if you can’t join us on race day, you can still create a team member page and be part of our fundraising team.

3. Want to help but don’t want to fundraise? You can still make a donation on our Great Human Race fundraising page, or select one of our individual fundraisers to support. Or just send a check to Manbites Dog, PO Box 402, Durham NC 27702, payable to Volunteer Center/Great Human Race.

4. Share our fundraising page through Facebook if you have an account. Just click the Facebook link near the top of the page to share it with your friends.

5. If you’re a Team PigDog fundraiser collecting checks as well as online donations, contact us at Manbites Dog Theater to get a fundraising packet.

6. Join us on race day! If you want to register to run in the event, go to The Volunteer Center’s Runner Registration page to sign up and pay the fee, or pick up a registration form at Manbites Dog. If you’re just planning to walk, you don’t have to register and there is no fee. Don’t want to run or walk, just fundraise? No problem, you’re still a participant!

DAY OF RACE REGISTRATION: Begins at 7:00 a.m.
5K RACE START TIME: 8:30 a.m.
WALK START TIME: Immediately following the runners
No charge to walk, runner registration fee is required.
